Empowering Womxn Through the Arts (EWTA) is is a collective of womxn artists founded in 2020 in order to build bridges of empowerment throughout the world.
We aim to…
- act against gender inequality through our creative and artistic practice
- practise and advocate empathy towards anyone experiencing gender violence, discrimination or sexism
- provide a safe space of trust and love where opinions, experiences and ideas can be shared without fear of judgement or invalidation
- amplify the voices and validate the experiences and demands of people discriminated against by patriarchal power structures
- meet the needs of marginalized people and demand they be met

- to be in constant recreation of inclusive, artistic manifests together
- to express social concerns through our artistic channels and in every-day life
- to formulate communal agreements and spread them throughout organizations, institutions and artistic platforms
